The fifth DELPH-IN Summit will be held between July 20 - 24, 2009 in Barcelona, Spain.

Location

The meeting will take place at the Universitat de Barcelona (http://www.ub.edu), Gran Via de les Corts Catalanes 585, 08007 Barcelona (http://www.ub.edu/mapes/pu1.htm), at "Sala de Professors" (5th Floor) and room 3.5 (3rd floor), both equipped with wireless internet access, of the "Edifici Carner" (Entrance from Aribau, 2).

Aims of the Meeting

The purposes of this meeting are to:

• update each other on recent developments and current activities;
• discuss more what we actually expect from DELPH-IN (and each other);
• create the opportunity for contentful exchange on computational grammar research in the DELPH-IN spirit.

Registration

Please register on the ParticipantsGroup page by adding the times when you plan to arrive and depart. Note that this is a closed summit, you need to be on the ParticipantsGroup page to edit it. There will be no fee this year.

Schedule

The schedule for the meeting is currently under preparation, with incremental updates posted on the BarcelonaSchedule page, as more information becomes available. Note that the meeting is split into two components, two-and-a-half days of plenary, followed by a half-day excursion, followed by two more days of more informal meetings and opportunity for small-group activities.

Accommodation

There are plenty of hotels close to the Universitat de Barcelona. The following ones offer special rates if you make your reservation before July-7th.

Above rates are per room and night, including breakfast, wifi and 7 % VAT.

To make your reservation at one of these hotels please send an email to congresos.incentivos2@hoteles-catalonia.es with subject "delph-in 2009" and saying "I will be participating in DELPH-IN 2009 and would like to make a reservation for a hotel room." They should then email you back and ask your reservation request.
