Discussion: Mal-rules (@ DELPH-IN 2016)

led by Luis Morgado

17 June 2016 (Day 2)

Scribes: Francis Bond, David Moeljadi, Wenjie Wang

[Summary of discussion topic] Luis introduced the idea of using MT to help divine the student's intent when they have made a mistake (now funded by MOE) --- see last year's slides. How can we integrate mal-rules into the grammar development? Is it ok for the mal-rules to be not so elegant? How much should we treat them as part of the grammar? How can we coordinate work?
