Ulrich Schäfer is Professor for Media Informatics and Mobile Computing at Ostbayerische Technische Hochschule Amberg-Weiden
At DFKI, he has worked on robust deep and hybrid parsing (Heart of Gold), shallow processing with typed feature structures (SProUT), question answering (Quetal), and the ACL Anthology Searchbench.
