I am a computational linguist in Germany. I head the Language Technology Lab of DFKI in Saarbruecken and Berlin. I am also professor at Universität des Saarlandes and honorary professor at Technische Univerität Berlin. In several research projects we are trying to combine deep linguistic processing with other techniques of NLP, especially in information extraction and MT. I am also involved as a co-founder and/or board member in our spin-off companies Xtramind, Acrolinx and Yocoy.
